It is a divine system for building people.
APOSTOLIC
Establishing spiritual foundations.
Advancing Kingdom vision.
Developing ministry structures.
Raising leaders.
Strengthening the Body of Christ.
PROPHETIC
Edifying believers.
Encouraging God’s people.
Bringing spiritual insight.
Calling believers into alignment with God’s purpose.
Operating under the authority and standard of Scripture.
EVANGELISTIC
Proclaiming the Gospel.
Reaching the lost.
Mobilizing believers for soul-winning.
Extending the message of Jesus Christ beyond church walls.
PASTORAL
Feeding the sheep.
Caring for the lambs.
Providing spiritual guidance.
Protecting, nurturing, encouraging, and strengthening believers.
TEACHING
Explaining biblical truth.
Establishing believers in sound doctrine.
Developing spiritual understanding.
Equipping believers to apply God’s Word.
THE GOAL: MATURITY
The goal of the Five-Fold Ministry is the maturity of the saints.
Our desire is to see believers equipped for ministry and developed into the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
